Hey, we hear that Maplewoodstock was mentioned yesterday on WFUV radio.

I guess they were reviewing Marshall Crenshaw's latest album -- Jaggedland -- and mentioned his local appearance at Maplewoodstock!

We'll keep an eye on the WFUV website and blog to see if they post any audio we can link to.

Very Special Musicians

Folks, we are still finalizing the musical lineup for Maplewoodstock 2009, but we can say this -- we have some very special musical guests lined up.

• Jonathan Edwards will appear on Saturday, July 11, at 8:30 pm.
• Marshall Crenshaw will appear on Sunday, July 12, at 5:30 pm.
• The Band Band will appear at 7:00 pm on Sunday, July 12.

Yes, folks. Maplewoodstock is back and better than ever in 2009. We can officially announce the dates of Sat and Sun, July 11 and 12, for the Sixth Annual Maplewoodstock -- a celebration of the music and arts community.

T-shirts? We're designing 'em.

Lawn signs? We're printing 'em.

Band lineup? We're deciding.

Art and food vendors? We'll be getting you info soon on how to sign up.

So ... cancel your summer vacation plans and block out that weekend. Someday ... someway ... this Maplewoodstock will be the Best One Ever.
